Get your New Year off to a flying start
and join us at our first networking event of 2018.
 

Wednesday 31st January, 7.30 p.m. at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, The Quay, BURNHAM-ON-CROUCH CM0 8AX (free parking onsite).

 

This is a FREE event, open to members and non-members alike. For the purpose of knowing numbers for complimentary light refreshments, please be sure to book your FREE ticket on the eventbrite link HERE.

 

Our theme this evening will be APPRENTICESHIP.

 
We have 2 speakers:
Amanda Drew, Head of Apprenticeships, Colchester Institute, who will be providing an overview for micro and small businesses on recruiting apprentices, the benefits, and potential funding opportunities
and
Misha Rosenthall, Business Owner, from MR Books, based in Burnham-on-Crouch, who took on an apprentice a year ago, will be talking about her experience and the benefits of doing so regardless of the size of your business.

 

There will also be an exhibition of stands providing further details on apprenticeship opportunities, information on other local business services and products, plus the opportunity to network. Members have the opportunity of a FREE display stand to showcase their business at this event. Numbers are limited, so contact us ASAP to reserve your space!

 

Our NEW Chairmanís Award will also be presented to our chosen winner on the night. The winner will be chosen from our list of members and based on their commitment and support shown to the Chamber of Commerce since its re-launch. Itís our way of recognising and thanking those who go above and beyond for the success of the chamber and our local businesses. We look forward to seeing you!
